Glu Factory  |   SuprBlog  |   About

The Glu Factory produces SuprGlu, and if it were an actual physical factory, we imagine it would look something like the illustration above. With colors, and more trees around. More birds too. And very little pollution.

The people at the factory: Danny and Shawn of Iridesco, and Dee of PrimalGrasp. SuprGlu was created as a mini-experiment in identity aggregation and publishing. It's a simple and fun idea revolving around the openness of the "social" web. The mini-experiment turned into a small project, which turned into a mild beast, hungry for server resources.

With the popularity of SuprGlu growing in such a relatively short amount of time, our server load quickly grew beyond what the current Glu Factory servers can handle. Our biggest struggle so far has been keeping refresh rate reasonable, and it is a matter which can only be improved by upgrading our server situation.

How you can help!

If you enjoy using SuprGlu and have the time and means, here are a few ways to help out the Glu Factory!

Money helps us pay our server bills and fund the development of more fun features. If you have the means to contribute to our service, we have provided an easy, secure way to donate via PayPal. All contributors (unless you choose to decline) will have their names drawn on the Glu Factory Wall of Gratitude, which will be created by our in-house artist in the style of the factory illustration above.
To donate any amount, click on the PayPal image to the left.
Even if you don't have the monetary means or servers to offer, you can still help by spreading the glu to your friends. Here we've provided a very easy way for you to send a friendly invitation to your friends. (NOTE: You need to be logged-in to send the invitations)
If you are a hosting company or have hardware laying around your kitchen floor and would be interested in working out a partnership with us, get in touch!

Thanks to everyone for all the support! Remember, for the latest SuprGlu related news and developments, see our SuprBlog. Keep on gluing!
